Built to Scale

Seven years ago, we set out to build a more flexible and scalable approach to manufacturing in Mexico.

Instead of investing in a single factory, we developed a trusted network of specialized manufacturing partners. Today, that network gives our clients access to more than one million square feet of capacity, backed by the systems, people, and oversight needed to deliver consistent results.

The result is a nearshore manufacturing model that combines the speed and cost advantages of Mexico with the quality, accountability, and consistency our clients expect from Tinker Tin.

Experience Behind
Every Project

Over the last seven years, we’ve built the structure, relationships, and processes needed to manufacture successfully in Mexico.

Our partner facilities operate under shared expectations for engineering, project management, communication, and quality control. Because each facility offers different equipment and expertise, we can match every project with the right production capabilities and scale as our clients’ programs grow.

“The advantage isn’t simply manufacturing in Mexico. It’s having the right model in place.”

Built for Scale
and Consistency

Great manufacturing starts with great people and repeatable processes.

We’ve invested in engineers, fabricators, warehouse personnel, production leaders, and quality control teams while implementing standardized systems and lean manufacturing practices across our partner network.

Our teams in the U.S. and Mexico remain actively involved throughout production, helping ensure each project meets our standards before it reaches the customer.

A Better Supply Chain,
Closer to Home

Competitive pricing is only one advantage of manufacturing in Mexico.

Producing closer to our team and customers creates shorter lead times, faster communication, more efficient logistics, and greater visibility throughout production. Similar time zones also allow our teams to make quicker engineering decisions and respond as projects evolve.

Our network supports Just-in-Time manufacturing, helping clients reduce inventory and warehousing costs, improve cash flow, and build a more responsive North American supply chain.

Products can move efficiently from production facilities directly to store locations—reducing shipping costs by more than 25% while simplifying the logistics often associated with overseas production.

More Than a
Manufacturing Partner

Great manufacturing starts long before production.

Our design, engineering, value engineering, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and installation teams work together from day one to improve durability, simplify installation, reduce costs, and solve problems early.

Whether we’re producing custom retail fixtures, millwork, branded environments, or experiential activations, we don’t just manufacture what’s designed.

We help make it better.

FAQ

Why manufacture in Mexico?

Manufacturing in Mexico helps brands shorten lead times, simplify logistics, reduce inventory, improve communication, minimize tariff exposure, and build a more responsive North American supply chain.

What can Tinker Tin manufacture?

Our capabilities include custom retail fixtures, millwork, metal fabrication, plastics, signage, lighting integration, branded environments, experiential activations, POP displays, and national rollout programs.

What makes Tinker Tin different?

Rather than relying on one factory, we’ve built a network of specialized manufacturing partners supported by standardized systems, lean manufacturing practices, engineering oversight, and hands-on quality control. That allows us to scale production while maintaining consistent quality.

Can Tinker Tin support large-scale rollouts?

Yes. With nearly one million square feet of manufacturing capacity across six specialized partner facilities, we’re built to support everything from custom prototypes to large-scale retail rollout programs.

How does Tinker Tin ensure quality?

Our project managers, engineers, and quality control teams remain actively involved from engineering reviews and prototype approvals through final inspection, ensuring every project meets our standards before shipment.
